Pioneering Excellence in Big Data

BDMA, which commenced in the year 2012 (previously as IT4BI), stands as a testament to the relentless pursuit of excellence in the realm of Big Data and Data Science. As I am currently enrolled in the XYZ edition, I can confidently attest to the program’s outstanding curriculum and unique characteristics.

Your Ticket to BDMA

One of the crucial aspects of realizing your BDMA dream is successfully navigating the application process. While it may seem straightforward, careful attention to detail is paramount.

Applications can be submitted via the BDMA application portal, whether you are applying for a scholarship (before the December deadline) or choosing the self-funding option (before the March deadline). The flexibility in funding options ensures that BDMA caters to a diverse range of students, committed to the study of Big Data and Data Science.

BDMA is not exclusive to a single profile; it embraces a diverse array of backgrounds and talents. To understand if your profile aligns with the program’s expectations, visit https://bdma.ulb.ac.be/home/students/bdma-expected-profiles-pre-requisites/.

An intriguing element of the BDMA application process is the requirement to submit specific documents by postal mail (s-mail) in addition to the online uploads. Ensure that you do not overlook this vital step, as it distinguishes BDMA from other master’s programs.

The standard application requirements encompass a series of documents, including a recent photo, passport, CV, transcripts, and your bachelor’s degree certificate (with a minimum of 180 ECTS credits). If you hold a previous master’s degree, it must also be included in your application. Furthermore, IELTS/TOEFL scores, work experience certificates, a well-crafted cover letter, a self-evaluation sheet provided by the program, and letters of recommendation are essential components of the application package.
